Is there any company that has come out with a .21 conversion kit for a ntc3? The ntc3 sure seems like it'd have the room to do it.

I'd really like to do a .21 conversion mayn! My ntc3 is SOOO slow

What do you have in it right now?

How about the Picco P2? Since it is a direct drop-in for the T-Maxx it might be able to fit w/ minimal modifications. If you had the 4-Tec, it should be a direct drop-in, since the 4-Tec & Maxx have the same engine.

Later...:mex:

The p2 fitting in the t-maxx has nothing to do with it fitting in the 4-tec the engine has a modified mount to hold it farther back in the truck and its case is much wider than any small block which is why it comes with a wider mount. To help one would need to know what engine is in your car, because i have the Traxxas 2.5 in my NTC3 and it rips. When it is tuned to race it can keep on the heels of my 1/8 scale serpent on-road in smaller lots and tracks. There are also more powerfull small blocks so the answer will most likely be a new engine.

The biggest engine u could put in the stock chassis is one of the new .18s
Also if you don't have a two speed. Get one that will add speed and acceleration
The weight of a .21 would also be a huge dissadvantage

lol, well right now i've got a novarossi ns12s3. It's fast, but my car would be much faster with a good 2.5hp instead of 1.52hp :)

I'm really not concerned with weight since i'm not racing...and even if I was racing, i've got one of the best engines to do it with. Besides, i'm all about straightline speed with my ntc3.

Kwong 2001 , It can be done! At our friday night drag races. Which is not at a track but on are local streets -not a main street but on a side street, atleast 50 to about 100 people cone to race there street cars . Anything with 4 wheels that are rc . Race them. Most people have 1/10 with a 21. I will go out there friday night, yes they are out there about 11:30pm to about 1 or 2 in the morning and see if I could get u a pic of it. I will tell u this it hauls a$$. I know you need ofna motor mounts. but as for doing it I dont know how. I will say there are some really fast 12 and 15 that these guy are porting that are walking on the 21. I wish you could see for ur self

peace

Is there actually room in there for a .21~? It seems pretty tight with a .12. I guess you could move the tank and use a buggy header and shoot the exhaust out the back. Good luck.

hmmm...is an SG crankshaft dimensions for a .21 the same as a .12? In other words, would the clutch assembly work on a .21?

I don't think the tank will be a problem, just as long as I don't get a .21 pullstart. Biggest thing i'm worried about is everything else.

I will check out with Wolf pack radicals I know there is a 21 conversion for the yokomo but I will ask if he also makes it for the tc3
