2006 Northeast Bash!

We don't even need to go to a track. I remember the first ECB we ended up at some hidden BMX track and had a freaking blast. We also hit up park and a parking lot as well.

Or we could all get together for a bit Saturday and Saturday night go out. Point is I don't think anyone is going to be to worried if we're not at a track. Just my opinion.

You thinking of Dirtrunners or BarnStormers RatMan? Dirtrunners is only 15 min from my office. (yes I drive all the way up there every day)

BMX tracks over here are in very short supply. We would have to find something in NJ or one of the outlying boroughs (Queens, FBF/Brooklyn, Stn Island)

I'll start checking into places in Jerzy see if theres some abandoned constuction site or something.

We can certainly find someplace to run on-road or off-road on Satuday. We could even do a Great Adventure or the NYC trip as I suggested earlier. There are plenty of possibilities.

MapQuest says about 600 miles one-way, 10 hours. Not too bad, actually.

Now that the date's pushed out, I will consider it strongly. I have to see what my schedule with my kids is, but that gives me more time to work it than 2 weeks. So I'm officially a maybe right now.

Well unless something big changes and the 23-24th doesn't work with most people then I'm set for those dates for sure. I just wanted to make sure that these dates will work for the majority of people before I put my time off request in.

Dayum, 5k for a full AMB transponder setup (10 transponders w/charger, decoder, loop, software, line conditioner, generator). Hmmm might have to get donations towards that...

Ok so, I emailed Dirtrunners (sorry if I'm stepping on toes) we shall see what they say. If its a go for the weekend there are 3-4 reasonable hotels in the area $50-$90/night (some of you might be able to double up and split the price.) SD and Monkey get the honeymoon suite tho. Very big mall close by. 40 min to NYC. Regrettably, closest RC hobby shop I know of out there is crappy. 2-3 good ones are 45-60 min away.

Let me know if there is anything else I can help with to coordinate things.

Woodie, got the "GO" from tower control! It's only costing me a flight for her to Syracuse the weekend of September 8th. Bonus is I've got enough frequent flier miles for her to make the trip!

Dirtrunners is very far from Trax70. Traveling to Dirtrunners on Saturday might be a stretch for some if we plan to race at Trax70 on Sunday. Some of my ideas for Saturday include:

• On-road and Off-road test and tune at Floyd Bennett Field.
  
• On-road and Off-road test and tune at the old BARCAR site in Edison.
  
• Six Flags Great Adventure trip (Absolutely huge coasters, ladies to look at).
  
• NYC day-evening trip.
  
• Party at Ratzos. He probably wants to show off his new home extension and I seem to recall that he wanted us to try his Aunt’s spaghetti and meatballs recipe.

The NYC trip might be a bad idea. I have a feeling that we would be out pretty late drinking and the chances of us all being able to get up early Sunday morning for racing would be slim.

/agree BUT it is only about 20 miles difference. FBF -> Trax70 = 90mi. Dirtrunners -> Trax70 = 110mi. According to Maps.google.com anyway.

The Old BARCAR site is near my house so of course I say thats a good idea. We might have to check with the college to make sure its ok with them. Would hate to get everyone there just to be turned away.

Anyone know were to get a used AMB system?
