I want to have a bash that we all get to meet for once.
I missed the one in Buffalo so I missed out.
Let's set a date that most of us can agree on. I'll start with lets say late September???

It sounds like some people may be interesting in traveling a pretty good distance to attend a N/E event. We need to make it worthwhile for these people so I think that we should consider planning a 2-day event. We could do a Saturday bash and a Sunday race. We could even do Saturday night out partying in Manhattan and a Sunday race. Then again NYC might be a bad idea because we may end up partying too hard and missing the race on Sunday.

I am game for just about anything but I unavailable Saturday Sept 16th.

i'm in.
baby # 2 is due 8/25 so anytime after that is fine with me...i know i'll the "break"

That sounds great.
Hey! Ross is taking us out to Manhattan.
Thanks Ross. Boy am I gonna be hungry....

Zandor best make his way this year!
Last year was promises promises.

I hope you like those $1 street hot dogs. :)

The later in September, the better. May have to miss one of my son's football games, but he'll get over it! Wife may be a bit upset, but she'll get over it! Sooner it can get locked down, the better.

Any reason I can meet up with Mr. T-Maxx and nut-punch him for all the, "Savage? Is that your REAL name?" jokes, outstanding!

September 24th is a Sunday.
What do you say?

Hey everyone, the hotel has high speed, and since the wife brought the laptop I thought I would check in.

I am definately in for the end of September! That will give me a bit of time to get somewhat settled and get my rigs ready to go. I'M glad to see the date was pushed back, so definately count me in!

I like the idea of Sept 23-24th, maybe I can talk that monkey guy into leaving that Friday! :D

What do you say monkey?

I think a Sat/Sunday would be best for our group but looks like they do oval racing on Sat and offroad on Sun. Would they mind us being there 2 days? Sat would only be a bash day cause I think they only have one transponder setup. If they dont allow us there on Sat, maybe we can setup a little impomptu onroad session at the college where BARCAR used to race?

I'm in as long as I can find time to actually start a nitro engine before the bash and get my rides ready. So far I have burned of total of ZERO ounces of nitro fuel this summer. Damn Wedding Planning!!! Grrrrrr

This could be good... lol What's the most members weve ever had at a bash?
We could be off to a good start in breaking that record... Count me in for sure...

Once I find out if I'm open or not we'll set something up. That would work really slick, plus the extra company would be cool too.

Andy,

That would work very nicely - I don't know what either of you two drive but gas split three ways would make one hell of a cheap trip.

Sept or Oct would probably work best for me - that gives me time to save up and buy both the radio gear and engine for the MGT so I could take that and show off to everyone.

If not then I'm sure I'll catch another bash sometime.

Yeah, I can probably swing that! I'll have to run it by the tower and most likely make a concession or two along the way, but I'd say chances are good! Let me find the right time to raise the issue with the better half, but count me in.

The only problem with running with the oval guys would be radio conflicts and those guys take the oval very seriously.
Maybe we can go to the city for the day on Saturday.
It is the place to be...
I'll figure something out.

If we get Candyman and Eddy to come, it will be great.

Jon's to far, Sky is spending time with the family.

Hell, make it a 4 day weekend. Friday is a travel day and we do a meet n greet with the guys n maybe get a little drunk once everyone arrives. Then Sat bash and hopefully not brake TOO much and go to dinner with the spouses/gf/f-buddies that tagged along to kinda keep them involved. Then Sunday race and maybe take a liquid tour of NYC. (If the women DONT tag along) there is a wonderful "cafe" that just opened up this year, thats owned by Larry Flint, where they have very beautiful "waitresses" I hear.
