Got a question guys, got my savage the other day and they recomend running 30% nitro fuel in it. I have a gallon of 20% left over, so can I finish out the 20% on it, or start fresh with a new gallon of 30%. Will 20% hurt the mill? and if I switch over after using 20% and then add 30% will that screw up my mill.

I'm sure you could use 20% and it will run just fine, the differnce is is a bit more power with 30%,but your also wearing your engine more,20% is middle way,I use 20% and I'm happy using it in all the mills I've owned,If i were you i would stick to 20% unless that little bit of extra power and more wear on your engine is what you want,if you start with 20% and switch to 30%,your gonna have to retune it,prolly won't run right for a tank or two,but if your a good tuner it shouldn't be a problem.

No...That little extra power dosen't mean a whole lot right now. But the wear does. I have always liked running the 20%, So I'll stick with the 20%.
Thanks GN

You can go from 20 to 30 but going back the other way will cause problems. Also if you go from 20 to 30 you probably have to add a shim under the head (or maybe remove one, I always mix the two up). Just mix 20 and 30 half and half to give you 25%.

20% or 30% for a savage.

well, i have a rush evo and that runs fine on 16%.
20% = brill performance for it. 25%, i think is a little to much.
But on a savvy. 20% = too low, 30% = too high.
Go for 25%. I think it will run fine on that.

Hope that little bit of info helps.

Rush evo man
