2 speed trasmision for electric?

Cool idea, but you may find you'll have clearance issues with it. Plus it will probably be cheaper just to get a low turn mod motor instead.

would it be either / or? couldnt you use it with any turn motor or brushless if you have the room?

From the looks of it, you can use it with any motor/chassis if you have the clearance.

lol ok here is the deal... Two speeds in electric car is pointless two reasons :
1: it adds weight
2: electric motors hit there max rmp in seconds so that would render 1st gear useless

Seems like a lot of heavy rotating mass to add to the line up. I would be curious to see a car run before and after on it.
