There's really no point in that with an electric motor.
After thinking about it I guess there's not. I'm pretty sure even all the electric Teslas and stuff out now are only 1 speed LoL. I just like hearing a RC car shift gears 😀

I didn't see the end of that where you brought up Teslas also! LMAO
 
I remember a couple people doing it on a Tmaxx conversion. Usually ended up destroying the 2nd gear from the torque of the electric motor. But you're not going to get the shifting noise like hearing the nitro engine's rpm change. If you want the shifting noise on an electric you're going to need one of the sound systems they have out there.
