I was wondering if Yall had any in put on tires for a jato. The anaconda tires are pretty much junk. I currently run proline road rage and they do ok but wear out pretty quick too. I'm looking for a better tire if there is one made for the street. I've seen videos where guys are running like a street slick but I'm not sure where they get them or if they hold up well.

I have pro-Line Street Fighters on mine and hold up good but I only run it once or twice a week.

When you say slicks are you referring to these tires in the pic below? If so those are called Ipenema GT Slicks. You used to be able to buy them at BrucknerHobbies.com but it doesn't look like they carry them anymore. Theyre imported and a little hard to find a stateside retailer. Theyre awesome tires though.

Equally good are GRP GT racing tires and Bruckner still does carry those. Both will require 17mm wheel adapters though cuz they are meant for 1/8 scale GT on road cars.

Jaco Foams are also good onrod tires if you're not trying to break the 100+MPH mark. I've used them also and the only thing I didnt like was that I had read quite a few places online where people complained about them blowing out at 100+MPH speeds. they dont require 17mm adapters though. :)

Thank you greywolf I will check out jaco foams. I'm not doing a 100+ so they should be fine.

I ordered me a pair so I'm interested to see how they hold up. My jato isn't a speed king so they should do good. I got it geared a little lower for more low end acceleration. Me and some buddies have a old go Cart track we race around so my top speed is probably only around 55. It's super fun racing around that track though. If you have something like that where you live you should try it sometime. Corners are sharp and you can drift the corners at substantial speed and if you wipe out there's nothing but grass on the outside of the track. They use to race nodded go carts there years ago and it shut down so now it's our own personal rc race track. We got with the owner and he told us if we kept the grounds up around the track we could use it all we wanted.
