First off I would like to say hello to everyone and thank you in advance for any help. I'm pretty much a rookie when it comes to these nitro r/c's. I got my 2.5 tmaxx a couple years ago and tinkered around with it for awhile. In the process of building my new house it got put in storage and hasn't been touched in a year and a half. It ran fine prior to storage but will not run unless you feed the fuel directly into the carb, then only runs till the fuel runs out. Any advice would be appreciated.

Pull off the feul lines (the blue lines) see if there clogged with old hardened gas. If so start with that. Warm water and blow through em is what i have done.

Then try again...... if THAT dont work chances are that the same hardened gas that is in the lines is ALSO in the carb itself.

I just went through this with a buddies that was sitting a few years.

Yep, sounds like what Knall said. I don't recall if the fuel tank for that has a stone filter in it or not. If it does, that could be another spot where evaporated fuel/oil could have built up and be clogging.

The fuel runs through the lines freely. I thought that might be it so I have already changed the lines. I guess I should have maybe said that. Also...at first when I would try to prime it by plugging the exhaust it was not pulling the fuel through the lines so I changed out my pipe from the aftermarket pipe back to the stock pipe. It then started pulling fuel through so I thought that was my problem but now I'm still stuck where I'm at. Any other ideas fellas?
