I swear this truck is awsome when it is running right. But keeping it running that way is frustrating. I can only guess at this point, I have stumbled onto the right tune till now. I know it can do a power wheelie from a stand still but not today.. It shouldn`t matter beings that it still runs fine and idles. Or atleast it did till I started messing with it... Now no wheelies no idle and not performing well at all. I set it back to factory settings but can't get the idle down. everytime I lean the LSN it idles up I try backing the idle screw down but it just doesn`t work. I have made sure the carb linkage has the travel it needs.....

First, you'll need to make sure that you haven't backed the idle screw out of the slide in the barrel. Once you know it's seated in there properly you'll have to warm up the engine and then start leaning the LSN in small increments, driving it about 30 seconds at a time and leaning it again till you get the right launch.
The LSN getting leaned will also raise the idle, so you'll have to work those two settings together. Once that's good, any WOT adjustments will need to be done with the HSN.
Keep in mind that cold weather has a major effect on how a nitro engine runs.

Think it was the weather that messed with it today. It was about 25 degrees cooler than usual. The idle screw still opens and closes, guess its in there right. It just would not idle down. But want a rich LSN cause slugish acceleration.

+1 for rolex's advice and about being colder plays a great factor in your tuning, the engine needs to be richened quite a bit in colder weather
