On the crb there is the inlet for the fuel where the HS needle is. Offset to that there is a chrome plug. If you strip the inlet, can you just switch the HS over and seal the old inlet?
Is the chrome plug opening just another inlet to the carb?

One way to find out I guess. I changed the HS to the place where the plug was and sealed the old inlet opening. I'll let you know if it wors as soon as I get a chance to try it out.

It may work..it may not work. I can't get the HS needle to clear the throttle post to instal the engine. If I had a bench set up I would have tried it just for the heckofit.
SOoo..I guess if you have the throttle post relocated from the stock position it MIGHT work. Just some good to know stuff ...you know...if you ever need it.
