2.4 ghz antenna tip riped off? on my REVO

That little short piece of clear wire, is there any way to fix it, with out having to but a ner reciever? This is the 3rd one that I riped off! they get expensive. LOL

Well first thing you need to do is fix the coming off problem. Then you wouldn't have the putting it back on one.

Usually if you modify the antenna you loose signal strength. Not sure if you will be able to solder it back on or not.

no can't solder it back I lost the tip when it riped off, also I think there is more to it than just soldering. I think it is like a coax cable? (insulated)

yeh, you can solder them, but it will reduce the range in this case i think

I have fixed mine I ripped the tip off mine
What you do is measure the exposed wire length then strip back the same length of the black insulation exposing the clear insulation and test it before you fire up the truck
I found this info on the traxxas site , mine works like new again
