1400 Millium 6V Hump pack not charge

Hey, ok i bought a 6v hump pack off of ebay last month. It was working fine until now. When i charge it the red light goes on and then turns green in about 10 minutes which shows its done charging.. I put it into the truck and it will run for maybe 10 mins well atleast thats the most i got it running to since i had no time. But i go check it now and its completely dead. Usually last about 2 hours and charges in 1.5 hours but now its crap.
Is it the Charger? The battery?

Is it a NiCd or NiMH battery pack? What kind of charger are you using?

Being that this is the general electric thread I will ask, what vehivle are you using this in? Is this your hump pack for the electronics on a Nitro, or are you running a 6v pack for an electric rc's main power source?

Also what Charlie said would help everyone in diagnosing your problem, but I would also like to add...

How old is the battery? Meaning, when bought off ebay, was it new?
What rate do you typically charge the pack? I'm assuming ~500mah?
Was this decrease in performance gradual over time or random/instant occurance?
Does the pack get really hot when charging?
Also, can you test the voltage on the battery when it's charged with a multimeter?

Again, just trying to add some filler questions for you so that we are better able to diagnose the problem.

I've placed a LOT of orders through them, and they've been solid gold to deal with. Batteries, however, are usually not a returnable item anywhere, unless they're shot from day one.
It could be a charger problem or an excessive drain somewhere in your system. ie: tight linkages putting strain on servos.
Answer the questions in the preceding threads as to temperature when charging, after running, etc. and we might be able to help you figure out if this can be solved.

I've had some batteries that would false peak my charger, so I would charge them on a timed charger that I have while monitoring the temps VERY carefully. Both times that I had packs that would false peak really soon after putting them on the charger, when I manually charged them on a timed charger until they got up to temp, I then cycled them a few times, and they worked like brand new. However, if you choose this method you will be doing it at your own risk and if you leave them and walk away they could overcharge and ruin the battery or catch fire. I'm no expert and I don't know that it's a good idea to use this method, I'm simply stating what's worked for me.

Well like rolex you were saying tight linages. Well because i have a Y adapter so that i can connect my volt watch 2 it was hard to shut the cover so they are really tightley compressed down..
But thats not the thing. It doesn't even charge... Like caharges for 10 mins

How hot is the pack immediately after running it down?

Do you have a regular charger that you use for your stick packs and such? I think that if you could charge it on a regular charger and see what happens, then that would either eliminate the cheap "throw away" charger or let us know if it's still doing it.

When running it down honestly i dont know the temp but its not hot i know that, but i guess i needa peak charger I'm guessing or a good charger? I'm not into the whole charger thingy can someone like send me a link for a charger that charges 6v Hump pack and 7.2 stick pack?
