I had to do a lot of shopping for a big resident's bar-b-q tomorrow, and it was almost unbearable walking across parking lots.
We're expecting over 200 people to show up and I'm the grill man. It's supposed to hit 106 and that's in the shade with out a grill. NOT looking forward to it.

Yeah with the heat index it supposed to hit 113 here tomorrow. I dont think I'm even going outside! I wonder how its gonna work out for me running the revo through the house? I've got a respirator and a pretty big house. But just dont know if the cats and other family members will enjoy it as much as me.

Considering you don't wear any pants I think you will be just fine, and if does get to be a little hot you can always loose your shirt too, LOL!!!!

Beer is your friend, drink lots of it. You can also have someone fan you with your pants that you aren't wearing.

wichita, was hot to. 105. its to be like that for a full week. but this old man has to go to visit my mom in the rehab. she had her back worked on. the bone didnt have any cushion, it turned out real good.

Hit 101 here today. but thats also with 100% humidity. Next weekend, I'm leaving for Catahoula Recreation (Offroad Park) and camping Friday night, riding all day sat, camping Saturday night, and riding half day sunday. Its going to be awesome/suck at the same time.

^^LMAO

It's even been in the upper 90's here in the mountains. Supposed to be 98 tomorrow, and some idiot thought it'd be a great idea to suit up in full leathers and go riding. :hehe:

It actually got to 106 here today without the index. Wow, i need another beer and some ice cubes. Dont ask what the ice cubes are for it just sounded right at the time.

It's 7:30 in the evening, no sun, and it's now a cool and comfortable 103.

106 degrees and standing in front of a big 4' gas grill does not make for a good day.

I got on my bike about an hour ago, which was sitting in the sun and the on screen thermometer said 129! Glad my pants are thick lol.

I'm very close to the southern most point of Canada and it's been in the 100s almost all week. Normally I wouldn't mind except it was my holidays and I spent it all in redoing my bathroom Which kind of sucks, but for $2500 I just added at least $6000 to the value of my house. Not bad when you got a bank repo for almost 1/3 of the regular price. But in all honesty older houses are pain in the a$$ to fix up.

Ralph, I feel your pain every day here in SUNNY TUCSON, AZ. I help my brother on the weekends making Kettle Corn, the pot I stand next to while make the corn is over 470 degrees....i failed to mention its 115 here outside

My lifetime friend and his wife live in Goodyear. When I was still in New York he came up for a visit and on the day I took him to the airport it was 122 degrees in Phoenix. They closed the Phoenix airport because they feared the runways and tarmac would be too hot to land on.
He had to call his wife to tell here all the flights were being rerouted to Tucson.
They're in Oregon now. When it gets hot they pack up and haul their 5th wheel trailer to cooler climates.

When i was still driving a truck the last time i laid over i tucson az. It was 119. But there is no humidity out there. I came home to ga. And 90 here feels like that 119 did out west. I love Arizona! Used to spend a week at a time in Chandler with one of my good friends every time i delivered around phoenix.

I remember when i was stationed in 29 Palms California it was 127 degrees and i was wearing camos and had a 50 pound pack on my back

oooohhhhhh the fun days

I was stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas so I know all about those balmy summer desert days reaching close to 120. But hey, it's a dry heat. :hehe:
So is the inside of an oven.
