I will be at Anitioch's Delta RC in the bay area this Saturday (tomorrow). $15 gets you in the off-road race. About 80-150 buggies show up for any given race there so plenty of classes for a good time to be had by all. If the on-road coarse is not too flooded I will also be dialing in my MTX-3 for the following weekends local season opener. It's nitro time again boys, the winter has been harse to us in Cali this year. I know there are a lot of bay-area boyz out there so let's hook up and race and have a great time. http://www.deltarc.com/ 925-778-2965 I think he said racing starts at 10:00a. Drop me a pm or just reply in this thread if anyone wants to hook up and put a face to a screenname. Weather is supposed to be nice a sunny so dust off the old buggy and gas up the car!

I'm going to try to come and visit in the morning. Ill bring the camera but no RC. Delta has an awesome track and some great competition.

I heard that the on road track hasn't been prepped, swept, or soda popped in quite a while and wont do much for getting dialed in. Call first.

Yeah I called and he said the on-road corse was wet but might be dry by sat if the weather help. It may not be ideal on-road conditions but I am sure it will be a lot better than my street.

I have to say the saying on the calendar kills me!

wish me luck, I am leaving for my 4.5 hour trip down to Sacramento. Racing in the morning so peace!

Well I am back! Everything that could go wrong did. I am so glad Eddy was there or I probably wouldn't have even made it on the track. Even though this was an outlaw race it was so much different than me and 7-8 other guys (that what I am used to around here). There were a lot of drivers and a lot of confusion. I was so rusty and unprepared. I learned SO much. When I finally got my buggy on the track it was my first time piloting my new to me MBX 5. I was WAY to agressive for a small indoor track. I would alike the difference to SuperCross (indoor) and outdoor motocross. I am used to a bigger track with sweeping turns and big air. This to me was a 1/10 track and a tight one at that. I have to learn how to calm down and fineese (sp?) a small track. FastEddy is a true friend and helped me so much. Racing this season is going to teach me so much. After all that went bad I still had the funest day I have had in so long. It has been a long winter and it was great to get some nitro burnt and a little track time. I have a lot of practice to do and a lot to learn but racing is SO much fun! One thing I learned that stands out the most is you can't stoop to other peoples levels and antics. You have to remember to have fun and it's all about the hobby as you will always run into the "jerks" in racing. Just keep a good attitude and don't let em get you down!:trashed:
