Here are a few pictures of my sons (blue) and mine (red). His is still bone stock and I have made a few small mods.

I changed the tires to steel rims and some Goodyear Wranglers. Those 0.7” wheels are a pain as they are so tiny for me.

I also changed the shocks to the stock SCX24’s. This helped lots. But now the front drive shaft is too short. If I had a 3D printer that would make it easy. I am going to try and fit the stock SCX24’s on once my aluminum ones show up.

It has lots more flex now. The blue one only has another 1/8” of travel while the red on the 3 tires has the back wheel less than an 1/8” off the ground.

Then the front steering I moved to the the front holes and made a difference.

All in all it is not worth the reg price. But it does have a hard body with full interior which I plan to eventually detail. Also have a light set for it to install.

🍻🍻

How is the motor on them? The reviews I saw said they are kinda weak. Wonter if the PN Racing motor could be made to work in them.

Mine came with the N30 in it already which I believe was the upgraded one. I haven’t noticed any issues. Furitec does make a system for it that has the Micro Komodo, which would be more than enough power on this little thing lol.

It's a good looking truck, just haven't heard anyone that liked it stock out of the box. I didn't know it had an interior.

Terrible out of the box but blow out sale is worth it imo. Here are some interior pics. Hard to get decent ones due to light glare. When I dive into painting I will add pics to this post.

Price wise I think it is worth a tinker. :) I've been trying a bunch of different brands of mini crawlers and trail trucks. I'll keep this in mind but there are a few other brands to try first.

I wouldn’t put it at the top of the list. Something tells me it will drop in sale price even more.

I agree. Even if you just build a scaler out of it, and it lacks a bit on the performance side, it can be a cool truck. It does have that toyish kinda look, but that is probably what I would address first by way of a paint job and wheels and tires. I'd love to see one with a cage on back like our Carnage.

What little you have done to yours makes me kinda want one. I have those .7 wheels and Wrangler tires on our trailer on the Carnage. They were definitely "fun" to assemble 😜

Ok... this changes things. I want one.
