1/18 18R Kamino RTR help

hi there everyone,my wife last month bought me a 18R Kamino,think she's trying to put some life back in me.
the problem is,as i live in the UK,i seem to be having trouble finding spares and stuff.any help would be great,also as i'm new to the r/c world,any tips on how to tune my car up would be fantastic.

Welcome to the hobby mate!

Tower hobbies is a great place to order from, however they're based here in the USA. You could order from Tower, but your best bet would be to look in the phone directory under hobbies, and see if you can find a shop listed near you. I'm pretty sure there will be a hobby shop within 100 kilometers of where you are.

For a first R/C, she got you a good one. Lots of hopups out there, and they're tough as nails.

Its electric hey. It has a 380 in it which go pretty good for stock. If you get bored check some 1/18 brushless kits. Castle Creations make great setups for these. Very easy to fit. But if you dont want to spend more money on it, just get a battery with more power. You can get Lipo's for it. But a decent Nimh is good enough.

if you stick with nimh, the 7 cell pack really opens her up.
