i am new to the rc world but loven it so far, my question is can i put a differant motor on my car it has the .07 but i want somthing with a little more power like the .21 or .18 can i fit this motor ?? are the mounts the same ? :\

Thanks for the help in advance!!

I'm doubting that a 1/16th scale nitro can handle anymore than what comes on them. If this is a smartech, I've read about their plastic gears being problematic.

There is no way a .21 motor will fit in 1/16 buggy. You will probably struggle to get a .12 in it. If your after something with more power i would suggest just buying a 1/10 scale buggy. You can get them fairly cheap nowadays. Check Ebay.

A .21 motor probably weighs 75% of what that entire rig weighs. I highly doubt your could even fit a .12 in there without major modifications and even if you did manage, the drivertrain WOULD NOT be able to handle it. If you want a new mill try this... This is the tuned version of this engine. It should drop right into your rig and provide considerable more power than your stocker. Keep in mind, because these 1/16 rigs are so small and light a small upgrade in power will equate to a big upgrade in performance.

yeah I'm there already

looking into the trexxas jato or one of there trucks. i think I'm looking 4 more speed, i like the trucks alot though and most of them are slower. any one no of a truck thats fast and handels good?

Anything 1/10th scale would out perform your current rig, just due to the bigger size. Look for something you like from the quality manufacturers, post about it and we'll send you in the right direction.
