i am getting Sportworks Recoil Pro Roller and i just wanted to know if anyone has heard of one of these?
know what kinds of thing that break easily?
know what good hop ups there are or where to get them from cheap?
can 1/10 scale or 1/18 scale parts work for this, or will the 1/10-1/18 scale motors work in them? I've never heard of a 1/14 motor before no I'm kinda confused.
or just any piece of information from someone thats had one or seen one driven?
just wanted some input, i got a hell of a deal at $45 for a roller that needs a motor, battery, and Tx/Rx.

I've heard of some people putting 1/18 scale brushless motors on there and having good results.

thanks

I don't know about the Recoil but I've got the 1/16 Chaos. I doubt 1/10 parts would fit. $45 is a good price and I bet it will SCREAM if ya go brushless.

You posted the ARR Spashett Edition version. That's why the price is higher.

I believe that the 1/18 brushless set is too small for it. It may fit if you mod it, but you would need a high tooth pinion.

EDIT: If it's a 1/18 Mamba, it will fit.

I like it. I've only had it out a handful of times and its a lot of fun. Its surprisingly fast and agile. I got mine from HeartBreak who got it from h8z2luze. As soon as I'm at full health I plan to take it out in the snow so I'll let you know how that goes. The times I did have it out, I didn't have a fail safe and was along side a river so I wasn't too crazy with it. The only issue I had was with the brake. It stuck and didn't allow the wheels to move so I took it off. I know I'll get some grief for doing that but I've never driven with a brake before so I don't see it as a big issue. I will fix it when I get around to it. Everything is tiny so wrenching on it is a bit more involved then anything bigger. I would also recommend putting a different radio in it.

the recoil pro is an on road 1/14 car, I've heard alot of people putting 1/18 mamba motors on them. i got a 4200Kv motor but now ESC so i got a WTB ad up so hopefully i can get a Brushless ESC for cheap.

i also need to find a servo for the car, and i have a futaba Magnum Sport Radio. so that should take care of the problem with the Radio

What made you think it sucked? What kind of problems were you having with it?

the response was slow and the servos jus stopped working also it was like the brake was not powerful enough for the car
