Just got this truck a few months ago. 1991 Toyota Pickup 4x4, 280000 miles, 22re engine. It won't lay down a fat strip of rubber or anything, but it'll climb like a goat. Right now it's got 30x9.5's with stock wheels. Looking to stick some 31 or 32x10.50's on some Crager Soft 8's with a little wider offset to give it the classic toyota stance. Also probably put an Aussie Locker in the rear axle since it slips a little. It's not too bad when the it's in 4wd, but it'd be nice not to have to shift into 4wd when I'm just driving through a small field or something. Other than that, nothing really extreme planned for it, I want to keep it a reliable and somewhat economical daily driver.

Thank you guys, for the great comments.

I don't have enough time for 1:1 cars. My daily driver is an '05 Civic Si with HFP package (Honda Factory Performance - different springs, wheels/tires, hubs, sways, ground effect kit). It handles 3 times better than my old '03 Civic Si. That was basically the same car mimus the HFP package. If I had the money, time and space for a project car I'd probably go with one of my longtime favs... 944(late 80's era), 928 S4, or even a gen 2 RX-7 would be fun to tinker with. Actually I quite often consider picking up an older Rx-7 just for the hell of it.

I had a Supra similar to H8's. Picked it up for $800 back around 2001 I think. It needed a new head because the airhead lady that owned it at the time let all the coolant run out and overheated it. At the time, heads were more than what I paid for the car and I was trying to pay for college, so it sat for a year or two before I finally sold it for $1500 to a guy wanting to use it as a project car...apparently had an engine but no car.

Yeah car parts are expensive, thats why my car is probly staying full exhaust for awhile. I mean It gets expensive breaking things i would rather not break it, i already put enough money into my savage........ :)

thats how i roll yo! lol. I've always liked to have rigs that no one around here (here, as in where i live) has, everyone here has trucks covered in mud, wich is fine, I've had my share as well but it gets old just seeing them imo.

Oh and i live in the city Jay.....(400 people population city though) lol.

That's my kind of city. I like the woods myself, only problem is that there is no high speed internet.:(

You do have a nice little truck there.

To each there own but it bugs the hell out of me to see people with trucks that can't even go down a dirt road because they have lowered them to much.

It doesn't look any lower than stock but the low sidewall tires could be a problem.

A lot of people miss on the size when swapping rims, not you SNG. That looks nice.

Not his. I'm talking about the ones that look like they are dragging on asphalt.

I had a Mazda b2200 that rode about that high and it was great. Those small trucks always seem to handle good to me.
