General RC Information
my first hobby grade RC. bought it back in April 1998 after seeing the ad in RCCA. ran it for about a year and its shortcomings became restricting (mainly durability) and i "replaced" it with an RC10T3. a few years ago when Kyosho rereleased the Ultima i used a bunch of gearbox parts to get it running again (i basically stuffed the rerelease guts and slipper in the OG case). it's currently got a Tamiya Sport Tuned motor, Hobbywing Quicrun 1060 ESC, el cheapo Hitec servo, and a Futaba 3PL radio.
notable mods:
Ultima gears and slipper clutch.
"adjustable" links and rod ends, rear axles and dogbones, and body mounts from a Tower Hobbies ST15.
tires are originally from an RC10T (i think...)
Parma baja bug body cause the OG body's are stupid expensive.
