General RC Information
Here is my Traxxas Slash 2wd that I call Junior. Picked it up a few weeks ago for $50. The story is a guy bought it and only ran it a few times before storing it away. The catch is how long he stored it… from my knowledge and research I came to the conclusion that this slash is 14-15 yrs old! This thing is as old as me! The body may look beat up, but I took it apart and examined it. The slipper clutch? Like new! The spur gear? Like new! See where I’m going? My purpose for Junior is to race it at a track in a spec slash class. It was a few days later I went up to the track and ran it. It was like I had dreamed! In that time I put the body that is original to Junior on to my modified slash. I got a few laps in before the rear left fender broke and was dangling. Now I needed a new body. So I hopped on eBay and bought a green traxxas slash body with clippers mounts, and now your all caught up.
