Have any of you guys who own a truckzilla tried to jump it ? If you did how did truckzilla do?

i've jumped mine all the time... can't get as high as my old set up.. that's the only difference... but lands nice on all 4's.. had to change my silicone from 60 to 100....

I have not done any serious jumping yet. First time I bashed after break-in I broke my cyl. cooling head. I have now replaced it with Nova race pro cooling head, I will be sending a picture of my broken head and the new one soon, so standby. I may try some jumping as soon as temp. warms up here in MI. I am anxiously awaiting for the roll cage from RC Solutions for the Zilla chassis.
Why do you ask Nitrohead?

:ball:

SavageRockS... I intend on jumping my zilla after I complete making the ramp. I was just wondeering if anyone had done it before. Thanks:)

OK, I just thought something bad happened to yours when you jumped your Zilla (i.e. like mine when I broke my head). I have since bashed mine quite a bit, but no jumps yet, and power is really coming out. I can pop wheelies on grass from full stop with ease. I'm now on my 15th-16th tanks of nitro.
Since breaking my head and replacing it with the Nova, I am a bit reluctant (more like scared) in jumping, like I said, I am anxiously awaiting for the roll cage from RC Sols.
Good luck bud!

Zilla Jumping

SavageRockS.... I can appreciate your reservation in regards to jumping your zilla because the parts are kind of hard to come by right now! I modified my motor but a slinger on the crank relieved the sleeve and then I bored out the carb opening and put a 9mm carb in. At first I have been running it with restrictors to give the motor a chance to break in, the zilla seemed almost docile, until I removed the restrictors!! Don't take your eyes off of it!! She is gone!! It is so fast it is almost uncontrolable.:OMG:

TRDStreetFighter... Are you still using the stock springs that came with the savage? Thanks

Hey NH3000 - I can imagine your after modifying the carbs. Right now, my .46 is stock and it is almost day and night comparing it with my stock 21BB. I totally agree, it could become uncontrollable, take it easy on the trigger.
