Build Thread Zane's SCX10 III Kit

Just started building my new SCX10 kit. Gonna be using Traxxas TRX-4 electronics until I can (hopefully) get a HW Fusion Pro. I don't have a servo though, so that has yet to be determined. I will be getting the Pro-Line Ford F-250 Super Duty body, and hopefully I can get some Traxxas Canyon Trail tires.
Finished bag A (axles). Fairly easy, but I don't have power tools so the process is slow. Starting bag B (shocks).

There are no greasy finger-print-smears on those axles... rookie!

Nice job on the axles! When I built the portals for my Gatekeeper, the instructions were minimal at best. Keep up the posting, can't wait for the rest.

Got bag B finished. Hurts to build up them shocks after a while. Moving on to bag C (transmission & dig unit).

They give you extra E-clips which is cool. They know people are gonna have some fly across the room and disappear forever... Not to brag, but I didn't loose a single one.

Got bag C done. I'm having a fitment issue with the pinion on the motor. In the pic shown, you can see that that's the farthest the pinion goes down. If anyone has suggestions, go ahead. I myself am trying to figure something out.
But for now, on to bag D (links).

Yeah, but it didn't help. We're gonna just file the motor shaft flat a bit farther back.

Got the motor shaft filed (thanks Dad) and fitted. That's gonna be all I can really do today, so yeah.

Got bag D almost complete. But how do I put in these balls? They just don't wanna go in!

Got the driveshafts finished. Working on bag F (chassis).

Got half the chassis finished. That's 'bout it for today, y'all. (The servo is just a place holder. It's only a Traxxas 2075.)

Got all them axles mounted up and am now working on the battery trays and body mounts (bag F/G).

Boom! The kit itself is basically done! Hooking up some electronics and gonna put some tires on and see how she goes!
