Sorry I haven't been here lately, fellas. Other situations have taken precedence.

Lately, I've managed to find some time to work on the rear brake calipers. Still have to fabricate an exhaust system, linkages, cables, driveshafts, not to mention, making new wheels/rims. I've been trying to contact the guy who painted PIE WAGON, to do the body, but, haven't been able to reach him.
Any suggestion on where I can get 90 degree nipples for the fuel tank? I tried Tower and wasn't too impressed with what they have. I'll try to get more pix as progress occurs.

Jack, its been two weeks!!! We need progress pics damnit!!! lol, j/k We do!

Sorry for not replying sooner, family situations have hampered my work on DP.
A couple of dayz ago, however, I did start making new wheels/rims. I'll post some updates when they become available.....soon, I hope! Thanks for being patient.

Bob...

OK, here's the scenario. The family situation that I had mentioned earlier is called divorce. Right now, time is on my side, for now. As it stands, I won't be able to finish DP, however, I am doing the wheels/rims. Upon completion of the wheels/rims, DP will be listed on ebay as an unfinished project, which will make a great winter project for someone! PIE WAGON has already been listed on ebay as per my lawyer. According to my him, I have to bury as much property as possible before proceedings start, so....... These 2 trucks will not fall into her hands! PERIOD! I have already "buried" 2 cars and my HD and prop in RI.

I aoplogize if this sounds blunt and to the point. And I know that a lot of you are expecting progress, slash, results, of this project, I'm sorry for the let-down, but, I have to salvage & bury what I can.

Bob...

ps I will post pix of DP with the new wheels/rims before it goes on ebay

:OMG: :OMG: :OMG:

well, that totally sucks!!! I'm sorry to hear you have to let your wife and the rigs go... Man...

Geez, wouldn't it just be easier to "bury" your soon-to-be ex? LOL...

Sorry to hear all that. I've been there and it sucks. Still sucks. If I had the funds, I'd happily "babysit" the Pie Wagon for you until the proceedings were done....

Sorry to hear about your troubles, Bob. Hopefully the future is brighter than the present.

Man, i can't believe how much this sucks... I'm losing sleep over it!!! LOL :hehe: Stop the pain!!!

you should just give your stuff to someone close to u and ask for it back after all the divorce stuff is over, but I'm sure its more complex than that, but I'm sorry to hear about all the trouble

do what fisherman said give to a friend of yours.i checked on ebay and saw it but i was wondering if you can't sell it and you dont murder it what will your wife want with it?

Some women are just plain spiteful. Sorry to hear bout your troubles, RCJack; the project was just really starting to take a great shape, too.

If she's mean enough to try to take your stuff, take some of her. What's good for the goose, is great for the gander ;)

BEotCH EVIL TROTCH FARGING WHO-ERRR........AAAAAGGGGGHGHHHHHH!!!!!
man I hate that.....hope you get through it fast....just listen to your lawyer when he says do'nt let her have an inch over you.....even if it's just a penny a month...once you are supposed to pay it's all down hill...she can come back anytime and it can jump to a few hundred bucks quick.......If she doesn't deserve any thing don't give an inch.......

Wow... I read all the pages about this great project but at the end I get hit in the balls...

Its good I only have a girlfriend. The worst it can get is... :argue: :boxing:

Wonder how he made out. Anyone heard???

That is a hell of a thing to have to go through. Just finished my child support off about a year and a half ago.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger? poop like that just drags you down!

Good luck Jack.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Sorry I haven't been here in a while, but, you know how that goes.

After these legal proceedings, I'm buying another house and setting up another shop so that I might further these "sick" machines that I build!

Because I have already notified my atorney, nor is she aware, of my intent to "liquidate", she cannot touch my creations, unless she initiates legal proceedings, (not very likely, but....), in which case, the unthinkable. However, and according to my attorney, time is on my side...for now

But, in the meantime.............

Anyhow, even tho it's not done, I'm selling Donut Patrol, but, I'm selling it as an unfinished project and should a great winter project for someone. Now, I would say that 90-95% of the machining work is done, which eliminates the need for heavy machining. What remains is mostly nickel & dime stuff, such as Dremel'ing, etc. The disc brakes need to finished, tho, all caliper parts are already made. Brake pads will have to be made. Brake pad material willl be included.

The engines have never been run, so, someone will have the "lucky" task of breaking them with 6 tanks of fuel.

I also have a lot of small alum stock, which may be needed for small pieces, plus sizeable assortment of metric capscrews, nuts, etc. that also go with it, along with anything else that looks like it might belong will be shipped as well. Sanding, polishing and anodizing is the hard part of what is left to do, but, that doesn't mean that that's all that's left to do; there's quite a bit to do, just that the heavy stuff has been done. Some alum stock will also be included, such as alum tubing for the exhaust pipes. Also, I may add other stock if needed.
To put it bluntly, THIS IS A DEAL & A HALF!! and that's an understatement!!! Feel free to disagree!

I may even throw in a Monster Pirate.

$1500 shipped! Hawaii, Alaska, Canada and abroad will be an actual additional cost.
Any questions?
