For me, if I use my camera or camcorder, I just transfer the movie to my computer and upload it to YouTube. It should be pretty straight-forward, unless your camrea puts the video into some kind of unusual format.

you have to register as a member and it takes a long time to upload especially if its a large video. Once your a member you should see a upload button. It kinda seems random to me the spot they put it in.
