I went to my LHS on Tuesday to buy a set of anodized shocks. One of the sales dudes(suposed to be a Nitro fundi) was in the car park trying to get a gas truck to run properly. After about 2 hours he got it right but with a bit of help from me. It was the same truck as mine so luckly I knew how to set the engine. it would have not been posible without the help from you guys and this board. I think I know more about nitro than most guys in my area. Thanks guys. P.S my Rossi goes in tommorow.

Good Job Man. It's a good feeling when you see yourself learning the hobby and putting that knowledge to use. Good job showing up the LHS. :D

Yeah I agree I have only been into Radio Control cars since December of 2002 and I feel like I know so much and owe it al the the internet (and tinkering).

I will have to agree with kwong - when i was really into planes - i didnt know a thing about tuning, maybe its just that car engines are more fickle, but i feel like a bonified mechanic now regarding rc nitro cars. I may have newbie title, but more and more people come to me at the track and ask about this or that, and i am able to give them the right answer. feels good to be knowledgable on the subject, doesn't it, renegade?

Nitro engines

I agree, see the envy on my buds faces when my nitro screams past them with thier 14x2 turn electrics.
