only 20 degrees here. too cold for Rc. tore 5 motors apart yesterday and they still apart. picco, novarossi,os,lrp and losi. still need to do a f46, force and s25.

OS backplate and starter shaft will fit in the back of a novarossi 28-7t to convert it to pullstart. need to adda couple shims and make the crankpin slot a bit bigger

hehehee... here in my location temp not a problem this time, by the way am here in Dubai, 2am already but still working on my savy, ready for the weekend bashing. I've lowered the height ride installing 4 big bore shocks plus the original shock just serves as stopper, I put tubing inside as stopper. With 19/47 combo for gears. Egine block and internals XTM .28 7port modified, carb is from F4.6, head or heat shink is SH.

I've been neglecting my savvy, been too busy with this e-lst2 build. I am trying to sell this k5.9 on ebay.. if it doesn't sell I think I will just make it my winter engine. what temps in F do you have to start worrying about it being too cold. most winters here it doesn't dip below 50 during the day.

I feel funny reading the title.

when i read it first thing that came to mind where those yoohoo chocolate drinks I used to have when I was young. Makes my mouth water.. lol

not much going on becaz have to buy X-mas gifts for every one.
Gona have to up grade something soon befor I wig out , darn X-mas

hehe at least i got some replies. its been so slow on this forum.

i was breaking in engines at 50 degrees earlier in the fall. had to wrap the heads to get em upto temp, also had truck out the other day, picco, was around 30. ran 1 tank. temp never got above 170, so nomo of that with picco.

Going to be in the 70's this weekend going to take the dogs and my Savy to the dogpark and run 'em. Still need to do some fine tuning on it.

It's raining outside, nothing to do but make some body modification air cleaner vent on my savy and lights.

Plus adjust the ride height installing 4 big bore shocks and 4 original shock for support.

its a plastic, actually I took it from the line of AC in a 1:1 car, cut it and make some adjustments.

What's on the pipe stinger?

I just got some mildly stiffer hellfire springs for my savage x and an RPM skid plate. I put heavier oil in a few bash sessions ago and I think a touch heavier spring will make it rebound quicker. I really am liking the big bore flux shocks.

Will probably install that stuff tonight so I can burn some fuel tomorrow/Sunday as the temps are supposed to break 60 this weekend. Will be one of the last few times I'll fire up an LRP this year!

on the stinger? its a rubber heat protector in a 1:1 car wire connector. The one end is small a little bit tight to the stinger and put cable ties, and its soft and can resist to the heat of the exhaust.

forced air....hmmmm..... hows that work for tuning? would bet it will lean it out considerably. looks cool, is there one on other side of truck too?

not really a forced air direct to carb, the other end inside almost 10mm away from the air filter it helps only to give some more fresh air to the air cleaner. I,ve tried this morning and It runs great and make my engine more cooler and little adjustment to the HSN to make it sure it does not lean. Only one side cause that is the nearest side to the air filter.
