So if any drifters know about Yokomo (Who doesn't?), it looks like the Yokomo USA store is closed down. I'm not sure if Yokomo is still distributing in Japan, but I guess there goes our Yokomo in USA. I'll ask Genki if they are still receiving from Yokomo. Other than that, I guess we will have to be paying high shipping. Discuss?

I think its always been fron overseas hasnt it? I know none of the local hobby shops around here carry ANYTHING yokomo, including Amain.

I don't think so, Yokomo had a location in USA, but wasn't open as a local store. I read on another forum that it was only ran by two people. But yeah, no LHS I've heard of carried Yokomo parts, except for my LHS. But they only carried very few parts. Probably because no one there had a Yokomo, but I was thinking of getting one. BTW did you get my PM :hehe:?

WAIT!

Notice to our Web Shopping Customers and Yokomo Users

We are sorry to have to announce that Yokomo USA has decided to stop Web shopping services as of December 31, 2008.

Yokomo USA has been supporting Yokomo customers in the USA for over ten (10) years, and with web shopping for more than three (3) years, and will now turn over sales and support to a worthy company.

We have directly contacted customers with pending back ordered parts. However, if you feel you didn't get contacted, please contact us right away, as we want to conclude back orders by January 9th, 2009.

We will continue for a limited time to supply tech and product support. This support will be primarily by e-mail. If urgent support is needed then don't hesitate to call us directly.

Since 1997 we have had the pleasure of providing Yokomo products here in the USA, and have come to know and interact was many types of drivers of Yokomo RC cars. We feel truly thankful and privileged for having had that opportunity.

We hope that you will be able to continue to get Yokomo products from retail shops in the USA. Upon request, we'll provide you with names of retail shops which handle Yokomo products.

Thank you, for all your support of Yokomo USA, over the past decade. ]

Hmm, I wonder what new company it will be.
