hi,

I wanna get a high end chassis for competitions. i didnt had experience with yokomo or Auper yet. Does someone have experience with both and can tell wich one i should get

Hey! Welcome to the forum! Are you looking for a kit to build and compete or a RTR? There’s many options out there…

I personally would highly recommend getting the Reve D RDX kit and going from there. If you want to try Yokomo, pretty much any model will get you to where you want to be for comp after some proper tuning. A higher end Yokomo would be something like a SD 3.0 or MD 3.0. Which you will have to buy electronics for it separately, same for the RDX. Personally, I don’t care for the Auper it doesn’t fit my needs/wants out of a chassis.

Another big question would be what’s your budget? You can be comp ready within a $300-$450 budget.

I compete with a Yokomo SD 3.0. It does very very well. I’ve taken podium with it the last two comps. I will be the first to admit though, my Reve D RDX can run circles around my sd3. I will be moving on to my RDX for a comp chassis/setup. I hope this helps!
