These have been my first 3 lipo batteries. Amazon Hoovo and Youme Power ones. Got these 2 years ago. Not surprised. But still.
One cell doesn't even read since it's like at 2.5v.
And on one battery, the balance cord is ripped out so it sometimes doesn't measure correctly.
Salt bath time.
Or I'll get a light bulb.

salt bath does nothing but eat tabs off cells.does not discharge a battery or make it less dangerous...and there is never any fireworks.its a smoke show then small torch maybe 6 "max....

Traxxas still uses the salt water method for battery disposal in its battery warning instructions. But it does say to discharge the battery first instead of trying on a charged battery.
