i have a xtm x-factor dont know anything about it other than its in rough shape the trans seems to be locked up may just be the bearings and its missing a few parts i seen a guy on youtube once that converted it to electric (can't remember his user name) but i was wandering if it is worth the electric conversion like are parts hard to find for them and how difficult is a nitro to electric conversions

it looks pretty complete and intact (no obvious signs of broken unobtanium). the stuff i see missing (mainly shocks) isn't a big deal. id clean it up and make it a runner. drive it a few times and if it wasn't my thing or i was to paranoid about breakage then sell it off. have a project. have an experience not to many people get. sure you'd loose a few bucks, but hell we do that on every RC we ever buy/own.

Agree. Besides the shocks and any unknown issues with the tranny, the engine mounts also appear to be missing, but you can always figure out something that'll suffice. I'd pop open the tranny and if the issues inside are minor, I'd at least attempt to make it a runner.

It would be a cool truck once it was restored!!!

I wouldn't convert it. I would restore it as I could.

I wouldn't bash it.

I'd still run it and enjoy it, just not beat the snot out of it.

There are other larger scale options that have parts availible still. I'd pick one of those to run 'hard'.
