I would like to know, which components are not so good at the XTM? Which should I replace straigth away? Which components can I use from other Manufactors? Which are recommendable?
Which Bodys match on the XTM?

I hope you can help me!

Thanks, RedDevil210

Well, from what I've seen, it's a really good truck, and it's nice and durable. The only thing that stinks is the tranny ratio, it's geared for speed more so than accel. I really want to pick-up one of the XTM x-cel. racer kits...$115 at hobbypeople.net!!! So hard to pass-up!

You might have better luck on the xtm forums. http://globalservices.globalhobby.com/globalforum/viewforum.php?f=9

Yes, cvec7 is correct, the gearing is set for top speed. So, maybe a really fast motor with lots of bottom, stock motor does really good actually. Titanium turnbuckles are a must, get the lunsford associated T4 titanium turnbuckles and the xtm aluminum hubs for the rear hubs. That is all, awsome truck.

by the way, i think that the stock body is the only body that fits, and i have heard that the rustler one works with a drilling for a new hole.

Ya, that might be true about the stock body because out of all the x-cell's I've seen, even w/ custom bodies or w/e, it was the stock body tho...

And if I use a not painted body, is it than possible to use the body of a Losi or Associated or something like this?

My XTM is a nitro truck, can i realy use the turnbuckles of the t4?

Again, you're prolly better off asking on the xtm forums, I don't think anyone here owns an x-cel....
