Well, I started the breakin yesterday. Lemme just say the factory settings are VERY rich, it was shooting fuel out the tuned pipe and running at a sizziling 110 degrees!!! lol So I leaned it out some to get up uigher than that. Anyway, pretty powerful engine, still breaking in so I have seen it at full running temps yet. Already has more torque than the 12R SS though.

how often do you have to fill the tank up on it i would imagine that .18 would use that 75cc's of fuel in only 5 minutes?

Well, the way the breakin for this engine works is you idle for 1 min. and then drive around with quick throttle bursts for 2-3 min. I always did 1 idle and 3 min of driving and I could do this 2 times with a little extra on one tank. Keep in mind that I was driving very slow with a lot of idleing, and I was rich. So I'm gunna say it'll probably 5-7 minutes when I can use a lot of throttle, but I really don't know for sure.

I found that with my 24.7 i got more runtime than with my hyper 8 port. These engines are well built and somewhat efficient for the price!

Let us know what kind of power it really puts out once you get it broken in... I have an orion wasp 18 that I'm not all to impressed with. It runs really well, but not a whole lot of power.

I'll let you know, I have done a total of about 25 minutes and I'm supposed to do 45 minutes total, so the next non-rainy day I'll finish up the breakin and let her rip!!! :D

And hopefully a vid too!!!

my xtm .18 goes thru my 75 cc tank in what seems like 6 minutes. less than half of how long the 12ss ran with 75cc, but its worth it unless you race and need run time. trust me the 12r ss claimed 1hp output is nothing to the xtm 18's claimed 1.3hp, for me the .18 easily had twice as much power as the 12r ss from how the car moves now.

I agree with alkyula, this engine has easily twice the power of the 12R SS and I'm still in breakin!! My old 12R SS is now being used in a custom made Nirto Boat!! I'll have a vid up of it soon, it's pretty funny. It doesn't have a real flywheel, it has a circular hunk of metal with 2 screws through it to hold on the clutch. It's very funny actually :D

Well, I finnally got to finish the breakin and man this engine kicks ass!!! I'm workin on the video of all the summer bashing. I'll post it when I'm done :D
