If you have the pro version then no not really, it comes pretty well hopped up right out of the box. If you don't have the pro, threaded shocks are a nice upgrade. No matter what version you have you are going to want to change the diff grease to silicone it will greatly help your handling and help you from "diffing out". I run 5K 7K and 3K. You may want to run something different. That setup works for me, but may not work for you. XTM has a few hopups but they were generally designed for the lower lines of the Terminator. Most of the after market guys just don't make alot of parts for it. Hopefully the buggy will catch on and the parts will come. It is a pretty bullet proof ride to begin with. Hope this helps
