X maxx body

I'm pretty familiar with the process, but I've only ever painted one other body.. here goes nothing

Keeping it pretty simple and the paint I have to use was definitely not my first choice.. will post update as it goes, but don't have much time to work on it

Good luck! Just remember, keep your coats light. Multiple coats are better than drips.

Happy with it so far.
I fully expect some bleeding and I wish that I had some clear to kinda seal it before I painted color, but I'll for sure keep it light and hope for the best!

Got both colors and backer done, just have to pull the window and overspray mask and add the decals

I'll update with those pics later, time for a hobby shop run

Liking it so far. Love the tree. I often thought of putting a crepe myrtle silouette, but the got too excited to get it done.

I see you were one of the lucky ones to get the proline charger body. The day I found out about it, the same I saw it was discontinued.

On a side note how is the xmaxx body? I am thinking of getting it for a future project.

Thanks! I have all the paint done, but havn't gotten pics to upload yet. Been pretty busy and haven't gotten the last bits done. Me and my son had a pretty rough head on collision xmaxx vs 3s granite..

I don't know what I was more impressed by, the fact that it hit so square that it launched the xmaxx, or that the only damage was smashing his body like a car in a semi wreck
We made a trip to the hobby shop and he picked out a silverado body and all the paint and how he wanted to do it. Not gonna lie, his is cooler than mine

Gonna try to get some pictures tonight or tomorrow

That charger body on the os 4tec is the first one I did. Looks like poop up close, but it was a learning experience

Finally got a chance to finish and add the mount to the inside. Turned out decent, but it's sure as hell not purple like the can says..
