This falls under the category of a member giving a recommendation to a potentially useful site. If he was an owner of the site, this might fall under advertising. So...we'll let this stand until he does SPAM or go crazy with advertising.

I kinda see it as spam also, every rc board i go to he has the same post, not to sell anything in the forum, but to spam his site in as many places as humanly possible. so yes i would call this post spam.

rctommy is a great guy and customer! I was going through my HTTP Referers list tonight and notice this site in the mix - nice site btw!
You how it goes you give someone a great deal and they talk about it - this is a good thing. I am doing something that no other, as far as I know, online hobby store is doing and having great success with it. It is a win win deal and those are the only transaction I want to do. I win by moving new inventory and the customer wins by getting a fair price and a new toy and who doesn't like getting a new toy??

I have to give you props man .......thats what this hobby needs is more INNOVATIVE Thinkers Like you in the World .....And I'm in Support Of your idea........as i'm in the Middle of getting Qualified to open My own hobby Store as well,...and that Will include the CNC fabrications department......But your right its Something that isnt Thought of in reguards to the Customer as this Hobby has taken Tolls On Customers Wallets .i Know i Have seen it..but What you are Offering Can bring satisfaction to the New Modeler as Well as the Exsperienced as well..and for that you Get my VOTE.....

Looks like another one bound for the FFA section. Here's a thought if you do not like what you see, then move on. This thread started out with a new member giving a plug to a service that he liked. How many of you have done the same about some part, company, or service that you like? I would venture to say that at some time; all of you have recommended some part over another, some company over another, or some service over another. Note that the member who started this thread only posted one post on the topic. That's right, one thread and only one thread. That is not SPAM. On a forum, one post on a subject that might be of interest to the majority of the bodies visiting amounts to information and nothing more.

If you are having a bad evening, day, or whatever and feel the need to vent....do it in the proper place. Hint - This is not the proper place.

Note, until you have tried a service, you really do not have much in the way of ground to stand on. eBay started out in much the same manner that RC Rush is. Small service that no one else at the time provided. Now look at them.

Thanks Skymaxx! I would be interested in doing some real advertising with this site - I got lost in forum land last night reading so many different posts - good site and good information.
If you don't mind I would like to address hb1111 comment. - Your right you don't know me. Do you have the same attitude when you go trade in you car to get a new one? You had to at some point trust the first dealer - right? Maybe you went to that dealer because of someones recommendation?
If rctommy does not mine I will use his transaction as a example. He has been having a hard time with his new GENESIS, (which I did not sell him) and he found out I had a stock of GENESIS .46 2nd Batch and he showed some interest in those but after he got it back from CEN repair he still had problems and wanted to look for a new truck. Now mind you the GENESIS is a bit expensive and he has some cash tied up in that. He had a T-Maxx in great shape and a few extra parts. I had a REVO coming in and so we put a deal together. I gave him $300.00 trade in credit for His T-Maxx and Sold him the REVO for $497.00. Less the 300 add in shipping he sent me his T-Maxx and $220 and now he has a REVO. Keep in Mind his T-Maxx was in great shape!! I have other people trade in cars or trucks with blown engines and feel they are stuck with a broken toy. I take those in on trade too - they are great part machines.
When I get them in I break them down and rebuild them, its my hobby and I enjoy doing it. I then sell them as refurbished or rebuilt. I have a stock pile i am rebuilding right now. I hope that helps answer your question or concern hb1111
