Sold / Found WTS Excellent Cond Siro .18TX+Big Bore pipe!!!!

Whaddup guys,

I bought this KICK ass SIrio .18 from HumboltBlazer not to long ago. He said he ran a gallon or less through it and I'd bet the farm that he was telling the truth as the engine looked awesome upon inspection. I've run about 5 tanks through it since I've owned it so I'd call the condition a gallon...lol. Compression is awesome and this engine is now truly broken in. I also have a barely used Excellent condition SIrio Big bore pipe with not one scratch on it that I Payed $45 for @ LHS.

This is the newer 8 port engine built for raw top end speed. It screams like a Virgin on prom night on the top end and pulls HARD. It's relatively easy to tune and seems to hold a tune well. FYI, it's loud as hell with the big bore pipe that obviously made for top end.

$120 Shipped and Insured in the continental US. This includes the Engine with standard and Turbo head, SIrio Big bore pipe in Excellent+ condition, Traxxas Blue engine mount in Excellent cond. (not one scratch on it), T-maxx stock clutch and stock flywheel and a vented 19T clutchbell. ALso the linkage to "drop" this beast in and smoke your buddies. This doesn't include an air filter but I can throw in a 2.5 engine filter with one foam in excellent cond. This doesn't include a pullstart but I can throw in a complete EZ start if you want. Engine will be shipped with proper application of AR oil to the engine and crank bearing/s as I maintain my engines with anal retention..lol.

Sorry I didn't get back to ya sooner but I've been busy as hell with work as to the point of my head spinning (NO time for net). I'm not really running any electric right now but I'd be willing to trade for the XXX-NT if the deal falls through. The only reason I'm selling the engine is so I can dump more money in to my Maxx('s) project money pits. Shoot me a PM.

Ok man. Is the Engine in great conditon? Can you include more b/c its like this bud, The NT is selling for 210, urs is selling for 120. Its a used motor. Can you tune it up and fix all the things on it like flush the carb with fuel to un gum anything and get it pressure fitted, I'm thinking really hard on this... u might have urself a deal. Anything else u can include with it? Maxx hop ups will be a good one lol. later man -Colton

Hey dude,

It's like this "BUD"....The Sirio .18 is a kick ass top engine screaming engine with 1.9 claimed HP and 8 ports including the exhaust of course. The 2.5 TRX is a kick ass powerplant with 1.3 claimed HP that's obviously a top end engine itslelf. The Sirio .18 will smoke the 2.5 but if you want some real low end then go for a big bore and look to invest $600+ in driveline and tranny upgrades to handle the power.l I maintain my engines as good as anyone if not better. Their's nothing "gumed" in the block or anywhere else for that matter as I only use AR oil in my engines for short term storage and full synethic oils that need to be cleaned out for long term storage. The average price for the SIrio .18 is $189.99 and the cheapest place your going to find the Sirio big bore pipe is VIA ebay for $36.00 shipped. The included Traxxas blue engine mount averages $34.00 and it looks brand new. A used EZ start is going to run you @ least $10 bucks.

It's all relative of cousre. Their's a possibility that you'll tweak the hell out of your stock sliders over time with even high gearing and break or even melt the plastic gears in your tranny. I have buds running a Sirio .18 with around 72/20 gearing and an FOC and they haven't had any problems with broken or melted gears or spider gears in the diffs. You need to keep in mind that if ya wanna pay you have to pay in this hobby often. The stock maxx equipment can barely handle the power of the mean ass tuning nightmare 2.5.

The engine is still for sale. If I don't get my asking price I'll just keep it or post it on flea bay as it is a kick arse engine. The price doesn't include a header but I have an excellent cond. header for sale.

Forward only conversion. THis engine is powerfull engough that I wouldn't reco stabbing the throttle off the line all the time with plastic tranny gears.
