Were you by chance running in the water or snow? Also sounds like something could be interfering with the Radio. AM radios can be a real pain. Have you checked all the connections in the reciever? Made sure everything is plugged in, and in the right spots? Did you check to make sure the crystals on both the radio and reciever were plugged in all the way?

Off the top of my head I'd think 2 things.

1. Try unhooking the failsafe and see if that changes anything. If it does, then that was the culprit.

2. Check your crystals. Make sure the crystals are firmly seated both in the transmitter and the receiver. Sometimes they can wiggle out with all the vibration on the chassis and will cause the system to lose signal.

Oh, and just give a quick check to the antenna wire on the receiver just to make sure it's not broken.

There could be a few possibilities, but these are the first to jump into my mind.

I have tried the failsafe.

I have two sets of crystals and tried both with no luck.

As kevin said i have never ran my truck in water.

And the antenna wire seems to be fine.

Thanks for the help keep it coming please. I have tried everything i can think of without replacing the receiver but i really can't afford to do that at the moment

try unhooking one servo at a time, see if the other one acts right by itself. also check your battery holder on the RX you said it has new batterys but the holder may be broke.

Holder is fine i just checked and replaced the batteries last night but i will try the servos one at time and get back to you.

EDIT: JUst checked and it still twitches. But also something else to add sometime it doesn't twitch, It still wont steer or anything it just doenst respond at all at times.

EDIT AGAIN: Ok well my father is an idiot. He said i would be alright mixing brands of batteries, Nope lol.

That was my problem I had 10 Duracell and 2 Energizer who knew that could cause so many problems. Thanks for all the help everyone

Your father is not an idiot, as long as all the batteries are good, mixing brands wont matter, most likely one or more of your batteries are no good. Also, if you are running a fail safe off the 4 aa alkalines, that can also cause you problems. You should really consider replacing those with a 5 cell hump pack.

Plus 1 on this as well. I would definitely go out and buy yourself a decent 5 cell rechargable reciever battery. Will save you money in the long run and it will also be a more reliable power source.
