Is "the fix" too hard to explain? I'm curious what it is...
Unfortunately, by design, the front of the NTC3 has that one weak point. Where the shock towers mount to the top of the diff cases is vaulnerable. When a direct hit (or murphy's law) happens, the shock tower will shift and rip the top of the diffcase off or crack it at the mounting points.

When I was still racing my NTC3, it went a whole season without breaking the front end. In the second year, I just tapped a board and broke the diff case. I have broken the front on more than one occasion in the same day in a variety of situations, all during racing.

The "fix" was a Godsend but unfortunately it's hard to find these days. A few have made due with the long screws and 1/8 shock standoffs. I'll see if I can find it and post once found. If you have a lathe or a mini table lathe, it can be done. Unfortunately, most do not so standoff's are more accessable.

I spent a long time on the phone with the original designer. According to him (And I did follow up by calling McMasters) the parts are not available to an exact fit. He had them made for the package he was selling. There are ways to replicate something close and I may just do that. In the meantime I have several feelers out to try and find a set.

Do you or can you get me the dims or a drawing on this sert?
And is this a thing that would sell?
I do have the means to make parts like this.
A drawing would be good.

Zandor may have the means to make them Ed, but by the time he does, the TC 50 will be out, and hopefully they will have addressed the issue by then. :D
