I had a few sets of them at one time but can’t seem to find them.

Do you have a set to sell? New or used is fine
Do you know where I get a set?

Can’t seem to find it anywhere

Go the corner of 5th and Industrial Ave. Talk to a dark haired fellow named Leroy. He can get "the fix" for you. Bring cash.

Yes I did, We were just getting to know each other.
Everything was as expected. Thanks for the deal.
I have a new chassis, full Graphite V2 upgrade kit, new bearings, screw kit, diffs, and a box of other new parts ready to go on her. In the meantime the rest is going into the ultrasonic cleaner for a bath including the Mill.

Ill keep you updated.

I'm still looking for the fix if I can get one, if not, ill have to try and find the parts on their own.

Here she is

I raced NTC3's for a long time and plan on racing them in the future and I have never used the fix..I see no real need for it.And I have just about knocked the curb down many times..And just for your info those alum diff cases will wear out soon which will mess up the mesh between the pinion and diff.I have stripped several gears before trashing the alum diff cases.

I'm not a fan of alum dif cases. I just got the car used and am converting them back to graphite stock units.

The "Fix" may not be nessacery but it sure doesn't hurt to do it. IMO for the price and time to do it, why not? Doesn't hurt to do it but just may help.

I put the al cases on cause I couldn't find the fix. I blew two of the stockers and got tired of messing with it. So genius, tell me how the fiddlesticks aluminum wears out?

Always a smartass. My aluminum cases wore bad where the input shaft bearings fit..There was tons of play when assembled..You could move the center shaft back and forth..

I just talked to the manufacturer of “The Fix” and they are out of production.
K-Factory has a great answer to the issue. It uses 4 screws that go from the chassis, through the difs and up to the mount to create a 4 point sandwich of the 3 components.

They can be found on E-bay for less then the list price.

I have never had an alum diff case wear out. I just don’t care for all the extra weight. IMO on this RC the tradeoff isn’t worth it if the fix or K-Factory mount is used.

The fix is used on the ntc3 to strengthen the front end or rear end.It bolts the shock tower to the chassis for more support.

That's Mr Smartass to you beeeotch!

"The Fix" was like a thread-sert that went up through the chassis and you drilled out two of the mount holes in the dif case and there was two bolts that threaded through the shock tower into the thread-serts.

Is there a reason that you could not just get the parts from mcmaster car or Granger?..Hell thats probably were the came from any way!

I was just thinkin the same thing. That looks like stuff I could get from the local hardware store for about a buck 98.

YA! thread serts are a dime a dozen..And the screws you can get 50 for a buck.
Mcmaster if you ask they will send you things to try if you tell them your not sure about the thing you want to buy..they will send you a sample.Of several different things.
