I was gonna buy one for $20 some dollars (Duratrax Temp Gun), but I thought I could get a cheaper gun from someone here. Anyone selling?

20 is about the cheapest, and thats about the worst gun out there..

Not really what I was looking for, I need something that'll read higher temps.

wow how far do you want to be able to read?

I have a used ray-tek I'll sell for 45 shipped...works perfect, But I have 2 already....it's a much better temp gun than the duratrax.....they sell for 70 new

Plaidfish - Ray-teks are kinda too advance for me, and they read higher than I expected. I just needed something that'll read up to 350F.

Jon2 - The Harborfrieght one only goes up to 230F. Most engines are suppose to go like 220-240F. I won't really notice if it's too hot if it only goes up to 230.

Plaidfish has a great deal if it is a mini. The Raytek mini I have is laser guided for precise accuracy. They are great

RAYTEK MINI

This is what mine looks like.

yep that's the newer colors I guess...but it is the mini....the raytek mini is about the most cost efficient / performance temp gun out there....you won't want a gun that you are using to read temps at the upper or lower limit of it's scale....you want something you're using right about the middle of it's range......

Oh okay. Well I found out that my uncle had one that he would let me use, so I won't be needing one anymore.
