Looking for a complete power setup for my Mammoth. Using a Stock "Agressor" TX, Hi-Tec 3 Channel Reciever, and three High Torque servos rated at 140 Oz. in @ 6.0 Volts.

I am serverly gimpish when it comes to electronics. I knew my new servos would take a hell of a lot of juice to run, and I also know I am tired of recharging 16 Energizers everytime I want to bash. All I need is a good battery pack rated for 6.0 volt usage and a charger.

I will come right out and say, again, that I DO NOT know electric work. While Beason has been recomending some basic setups I still don't even have a general clue as to what would work for me. Feel free to add any information you might think helpfull if you have something you think I could use.

Thanks again beforehand, If it werent for RCNT I would have probably burnt out long ago due to all the crap going wrong with my models. As always, a donation will be made to RCNT when I buy whatever you guys might have.

all you need is a pack that will fit in the factory battery place.. and that is 6v nmih..
that websight has plenty.. all you do is plug it in the reciever, or switch harness.. and get a peak charger to charge it.

Ok, the Peak charger... i did a little home work.

The peak charger esentially sends volatge at a high current into the batteries until they are full, it then cuts down thf flow significatly to ensure that the system is not damaged.

In the tower hobbies X-Mas mag I got they kinda knock NIMH batteries saying that only an experienced user can have these and keep them in working order. it goes on to say they can supply 6.0 volts, but only for a small amount of time. you then have to discharge them and set them up overnight. So you still think these would work for me?

no nicd is the ones you have to discharge.. nicd's need to be stores almost empty.. nmih need to be stored at about half charge.. and yes the peak charger is a great thing to have. i run 6v nmih hump packs on all three of my rc's with no problems at all..

Tweak I have an awsome rechargable batt pack. It was made by fasteddy. Its supposed to be 1100mah but the last cycle I ran on it with a reedy quazar charger I got 1150 out of it. Its a great pack and I can have it to you for $20 shipped. LMK.

vb is a stand up dude.. if he says its good then its REALLY good.. delt with him MANY times (huh ben) havent been disapointed yet.
