I'm wanting to practice airbrushing and need a body or two for my Associated Monster GT.
According to the Pro-Line listings it looks like the larger bodies for Tamiya TNX, Cen Genesis, Losi LST2 and some of the others will fit (Savage, newer REVO).

Wheelbase is about 14-1/2" or so. Seems most bodies are right at the 20" length overall (according to Tower ).
:)

I'm not wanting perfect bodies but I don't totally wasted ones either. I should be able to strip most paint and decals off.
I'm just wanting a couple of bodies - and different styles - to practice on and model on my truck. And I just can't see paying $20+ a shot to do that.
I'm cheap!
:\

If you have something you'd like to get rid of let me know.

Dan

PS I'm building from scratch - because I like to build - I can build it the way I want with the parts I want - and to save a little $$$ - so I don't have any bodies at all right now. Build is here.

Man I hate to say this but a few weeks back I cleaned up shop and got rid of like 8 bodys that would have worked for ya,keep checking there out there, the guy on her selling onroad bodys is super cheap and a good guy to deal with...

kb9jlo,

I've been thinking about painting my own bodys too. I was thinking about practicing with the cans. Some of the major RC paint suppliers like Parma say to practice on 2 liter Coke bottles cut in half. If I can do something decent I will spend the money to have all the tools, paints, etc for painting and trimming bodies.

Great link to your build and the bump for RCNT on your links section. Nice webpage.

funny you say coke bottle a few races back a guy with a t maxx used a coke bottle for a body it looked so freaking funny but was the talk of the day.....true story I swear...

Thanks for the compliments on my build page. I have a buddy who lives out of state (he's into helis and planes) and he wanted to see the buildup. So I tried to lay it out for him and just figured I would share it with the world.

I'm having a blast with the build!

I've had an airbrush for along time. I used to paint some of my trains with it. I want to paint my RC though. I just have to build up enough courage to attempt it!

We'll see what I turn up with. Maybe I'll have an MGT coke bottle!

I have a Hot Bodies LSP body that you could try out. Just pay for shipping and it's yours.
