Definitely a good idea, I've been cleaning soot up out of my hooby room for a week since that nimh battery exploded and sent shrapnel all over the hobby room, I would hate to see what a LiPo would do.

Y do they usually blow up. Just a question, i got a balance charger with my Lipo just wondering wats the difference between that and the other one where i just connect straight to the walll?

A balance charger will charge each cell separately. Lipos' don't usually explode, but that one time is all it takes to ruin your day.
