I'm looking for a cheap decent engine to fit on my tmaxx i have a 2.5 now but the piston broke let me know what you all have and pics and prices please

I'm in the same boat with the same set up lol

Lol the piston in my 2.5 broke so I am just seeing what is out there

I have an SH .21, but you'll need a big block kit to use it.

Well I kinda just wanted to see what was out there besides traxxas stuff and I figured the 70 bucks to rebuild it I'm better off just spending another 30 and get a 3.3

Never had 1 but I've heard they can be a bear to keep tuned if not properly broken in. Also been told the 2.5 will typically put out more rpm's than the 3.3 which could equal more power to the ground. If you come up with $150 the OS .18 will give you enough power to practically do backflips with the touch of the throttle. Not bad for a drop in motor!

I have a couple of TRX 2.5's sitting in a drawer. I dont think either of them have carbs but thet both have EZ starts on em and ran well the last time I used them. Although one hasnt been used in about a year and the other probably hasnt been used in 2 years. They should still both run though. I've kept ARO in them. They both still make good popping compression noises when you spin them even without the back, carb, or glow plug in them. PM me with an offer if your interested.
