I know every 1 says you should run with your standered MAXX tires on with the tread as arrows pointing forward but i decided to run mine backwards on my SMAXX (just the back tires) and while racing my buddy today who has got a TMAXX (all tires on pointing forward) i found i had far more grip whatever we were driving on tarmac, grass, gravel and mud.so as expected we did it to his TMAXX and now we can't stop laughin for pullin wheelies.

The idea of the V-tread is to help keep the tire clean. When it rotates forward it will grab dirt & give you grip. When it comes up on the backside, the dirt will get tossed out. Thus, self-cleaning.

In theory, switching the groove around will only keep the dirt/mud on the tires. After awhile they will cake up & the tread won't be able to bite. But if you haven't encountered this, then keep on running them that way.

yeap when i had stock maxx tires i would run them backwards on my t-maxx. yes, i thought they worked better like that, no matter what other people said. now i got some IMEX Swamp Dawgs and they work really really good.
