Hey All; Well I went and traded off my Traxxas Slasher for a Wraith. It was a even Steven straight up trade off and I will be doing alot of work to get this 2 owner rig up to specs.lol Mine that is. First things first I really have no real reason to run it stock and since I have to go into it to add a Spektrum reciever I might as well toss in some other goodies. So far I have my Hitec mega servo in it as well as a spare VLX3S system to move along the parts stress testing. Here are a few starting pics for you.L8R,W.

That is about it for the first night in the house.lol See you tomarrow.

Look forward to seeing what you do with it Wrench.

Wrench I'd really like to see some video of this thing running on the VXL system when you get it all done. I always wondered what kind of all around basher they'd make with a good brushless setup in them.

wasn't my dirt, I shined it before she left lol, but she looks all sad broken down. hopefully the gear mesh will be a type of drag brake because the VXL has none that I'm aware of. can't wait to see her transform!

The VXL system has brakes, I can't imagine driving one without them. :whhooo:

Okay good :D, yeah no brakes on a crawler=no bueno holmes!

I dunno how much "crawling" it's gonna do with a Velineon system in there. It's a sensorless system, so they cog a good bit at really low speed. Not really what they're for though, they're for ripping wheelies at 40+ mph, and turning small scale vehicles into ABS plastic land missiles. :hehe:

It would make a pretty gnarly FOFF rig though for sure.

Hey All; Well in between racing and bashing and work and church and life, wow full plate these days.lol I managed to break some stuff and then had to purchase a few things. So let the Wrenchification Begin!!!!!!!
Well I needed some lower links and found some for $10 a set and then scored a steering link and some droop mounts as well and the crossbrace support tubes. I also lowered the stock mounts and moved the lower shock mounts in line as well. And flipped the Axel mounts too. Gunna see what breaks this weekend and start ordering a few more items since I sold a few items and scored a decent tip froma client this week. Here are a few pics of the progress. Enjoy.l8r,w.

Looks great, the only thing that doesn't really jive is the fact you have a VXL in her with droop shocks, that pretty much eliminates any real fast bashing/crawling/jumping.

I drooped it for a day and regretted it, shocks would hit hard on not even 1/2 throttle jumps.

Bad combo IMHO

Seems to run real well for what I am going for. Smooth Speed runs on dirt roads. Also since I cracked a cage piece I went ahead and cut it up for a Jeeper look and my wife found a Burger King Woodie From TS2 in her desk at work and gave it to me.He Fits. Just need to glue his ass down.lol Few quick pics.enjoy.l8r,w.

How did you convince Woody to sit in your rig. Usually he's busy with the boards or large scale stuff.
