he's only asking 1500 but he says he's got 4 large in it. I'm just not seeing it. He doesn't even have flextek arms, looks like it's all integy. If that's the case, I'd give 1500 for a bowl of bad soup before I spent 1500 on an integy-mobile. That's just 1500 problems.

just don't see $4000 in that truck, he must have shopped around for his parts, and with all that aluminum I guess you would need a big motor like that to move it...

Charlie, I'll offer you my T-Maxx plus a bowl of decent soup for your $1500.

4 grand, no way. If he gets 1500, he's made a profit over what he spent. Unfortunately, some sucker will probably do it.
If he can tell you he has 4 grand in the Tmaxx, then I have $12,500 in my Savage, but I'll let it go for 5 grand. Any takers?

Its tempting but no. however I could go for some of that soup Jay is handing out...
Hey are those spinners? Those rims would look balla on your truck rolex.

Well Up here in the great white north I have about $4000 into my cybermaxx but I know I would never get more than about $3-400 for it . Now saying that I mean it includes the purchase of the maxx and all the upgrades from the pro .15 model to the xtm .21 conversion and then to a full cybermaxx . Three engines later , screw kits , new rc alloys driveline and your getting close .

Hey are those spinners? Those rims would look balla on your truck rolex.

Not only are those spinner rims lame, but they're pretty hacked up as well. They would knock at least 3 grand off the value of my truck.
Between the truck, the bling and the M11 radio, I've broken 2 grand with mine, and there's no accounting for the time that's been put in it.
If you don't offer me at least 5 grand......

NO SOUP FOR YOU!

HOW'D YOU FIND MY AD?!

Yeah I think $1,500 is too much. He's just pushing the price. He's not even posting the upgrades.

My T-Maxx has about $2,000 invested, and it looks way better than this heap and I gave $300.00 for it. This to me sounds like a kid with parents that buy him everything he wants so he has no real concept of money or its value.

No to change the thread, but just wanted to comment to charlie n other integy haters, IDK about all their parts, but i was told i made a mistake by buying integy piggy-back shocks, but i have bashed them pretty hard, and still are enjoying them emensly. (sp)

There are a lot of people here that read a bad review and assume integy parts are junk. I'd bet that my 'integy-mobile' in a head on 30mph collision with almost any other 1/10 MT would win. Quite frankly I get tired of reading negative things about integy...the only thing I've heard repeatedly is that they have terrible customer service which I have experienced first hand holds no grounds, they are excellent.

yeah i personally havent used there products and probably wont i usually stick with golden horizons stuff because its reasonably priced and has a good warentee I've just read way to much bad stuff on integy and am o longer willing to try something if so many people have ahd issues with it

is that enigne in the truck really almost 600 like he claims??

I think all of us here who own or have owned a maxx for any length of time has put about 2 grand into it. Now I am not knocking traxxas, but the truck needed some upgrades to toughen her up a bit. It always floors me to see what some folks ask for used RC's that have been "Upgraded". Now don't get me wrong, I am sure he has sunk some cash into that rig. $4 grand.. not likely unless his LHS was ripping him off. I am sure he feels justified. Unfortunately most RC's do not hold much resale value and that is why I will hold onto my Maxx until the end. I have put so much time and effort into making it better, and I know if I did try to sell it, I would never come close to getting what I have invested in it. This seems to be a tough concept for some folks trying to sell there stuff. I posted a thread a few weeks ago asking what folks do with there old RC's.... The most common answer... sell them for what you can get (which is usually bargin basement prices) and move on. Or you can always part them out instead. Sorry for the long post... it is just funny sometimes the things you read.

P.S. hey Rolex... I will trade you my 1998 Honda Civic for your $5000 Savage!

Yes, most of the 'bad press' on integy products are from people who read this crap on one forum then repeat it on another. Parts do break, and considering most integy is aluminum things happen. The way I see it, those people can keep bashing integy's name while I continue to bash with their products as they hold up very well.

$200-300 from a quick google search on that engine.

alpine, if you remember I told that I had the shocks as well and have like them. My problem has been with the way they treat the customer and handle the customer service. I contacted them on some parts I bought that had been milled incorrectly. I first contacted them trying to get some instructions when I saw something wasn't right. Once I realized the problem I tried to get in touch with them through that "ticket" system and couldn't get anywhere, so after 2 weeks, on the third week I bought a better product and never looked back. Maybe things have changed since marauder had such good luck with their service. Guys, understand that I don't try to bash anyones product unless I have it personally, and I'm not here to put your trucks down. But if I can keep a new guy from buying the "prettiest" part he sees regardless of quality, then it's worth it to be honest on the forums. One thing that I have noticed, these guys that are machining american made parts really have the customer service down, and they're usually short on employees. I learned my lesson and will shop with Golden Horizon, Turtle Racing, East End Machine, RPM, places like that. By the way, I HIGHLY reccomend East End Machine. Joe that owns it has really gone out of his way to help me out. I wanted a certain STRC part for my axial that he couldn't get because it had been discontinued. No big deal, he's MACHINING one himself, just for me. (a similar one, don't want to get into patent and copyright issues). He's building a nice stock up of parts, and will soon have his custom milled wheels on the website, which will be priced very reasonable.

Yeah, that might be a good deal godale, you can atleast tow something with the savage haha.

I just don't see 4g's in this truck. The sirio engine that has that color head is 200 bucks from amain, hell my on road engine for the tc3 cost more than that. I'm going to guess whoever said mommy and daddy paid for all his parts is right. He probably got into this for a little while, and didn't realize the investment of his time it would require, and thinks learning how to play a guitar now will be easier. He will pick it up, just like guitar hero and be some guitar god like hendrix in 3 days.I will have to keep a running tab when I start building my max soon. To funny, I can see it now, it'd be like that episode of hogan know's best when he finds out his son is running up his credit card to buy parts for his supra and just yells at him. I wish I could do that, but I thought buying all my own parts for my car was cheaper than getting beat down or shot. Hopefully someday that kid will learn the value of a dollar, since it's pretty obvious his parents bought him all that stuff.

If your Honda has the same mileage as the Savvy....ZERO....I'll give it some thought.

I recently added a set of TVP support rails made by Integy. That's the ONLY time I've ever purchased an Integy part. One site wanted $22 for a no name brand, another site had them for 20, then I found the Integys on sale for $16.
They were accurately machined, FLAWLESSLY polished to a mirror sheen, and had the 'ping' of a crystal bell.
They might have gotten a bad rap over weak shocks for hard bashing, but they wouldn't still be in business if all their parts were like that.
Chances are they've long since changed out the weak spot in their shocks, also.
I won't avoid buying their parts any more just because they're etched with 'Integy'. I'm pretty sure they're right up there with the best of them.

I have a set of there beefy piggy backs on my Emaxx and I love them. They are only about 6 months old and I have had zero problems with them. I think folks buy a set of Integy aluminum arms and then when they bounce the truck off the curb and the arm bends, they scream "junk" Personally I think that most aluminum parts, especially arms and the like should never be aluminum unless you have want a "shelf" queen. Rolex... cough.. cough! :)
