You need to take something for that cough, godale.
I've never broken, bent or damaged an arm on anything I've ever driven. I don't run near curbs, and I avoid major air, but I do like the 'lower CG weight effect.
Also, the fact that there's no flex in alloy arms, you get more precise steering and control.

It's true. It hasn't even moved a millimeter on that glass shelf in all the time it's been sitting there.

LMAO!! At myself... I actually meant run into curbs! Sorry about that. I do agree that the aluminum helps with the CG and the non flexing does provide more presise control. I guess I should have been a little more specific in my judgment, for those that run aluminum and bash hard.

Lesson did say the dust is getting heavier by the second on that Savage. LOL

all i gotta say is

lol thats hillarious. I guess I'm just old school and it means something to me when I call a company to get some service and can't get a human on the phone. I have their piggyback shocks and they've worked good so far, I even told alpine to stick with them when he said he HATED them after putting them on. I just would rather buy my stuff elsewhere, but I'm not talking down on any of you guys rides, and I too have their shocks. I am talking down on that moron who thinks he has 4 large in that maxx. I got news for him, he aint got nothing on Ralph :)

Yep, anyone who thinks they can get more than the cost of a new Baja 5b out of their T-Maxx has lost their damn mind. I love my T-Maxx, but thats because I paid nearly nothing for it...if I were going to be spending the money that is actually invested in my t-maxx I could name a hundred different ways I would have rather spent the money in terms of rc purchases.

That's why when I started buying big block parts for the maxx, I just went ahead and bought a Savage and put the rest of the money into savings for a baja. Then I got a free baja so the savings went to hop ups.

Even THIS doesn't even match what he's trying to sell it for.

I don't know if he still has it, but that's a Maxx by FastEddy.
I'm sure this has over a grand invested, but the $4,000 one has just a few alloy parts, and is still mostly stock.

Wow Rolex... that is impressive looking. Is that an RC Solutions Cage?

He just might have 4 grand in it. Not right now, but he could quite possibly have such crappy driving skills that he has had to dish out around 4 grand over the time that he has had it on parts. A-arms, shocks, axles, (as we all know) engine mounts, bodies servo's, shock towers, these parts add up. lol. But most all of that $4 large has broken and is sitting in the dump.
