If I were to get a 4mm to 3.5mm adapter could I run a castle motors 2400 kv motor with the traxxas velineon 3s esc?

Why not just get a 4 mm pinion
Which 2400kv motor? Got a link?
The vxl-3s is a 120A esc I think, so if it's a 36mm motor, it should run it ok.
Don' think I've seen a 4mm shaft, 1/8"/3.2mm and 5mm, then the larger 1/5 scale ones (8mm I think).
